It is Finished

‘It is finished’ was just the beginning 

Jesus death broke the chains 

Of our constant sinning

On that cross where he bled and died

His goal for mankind 

Was to become sanctified 

We are washed clean 

By the power of God

Purified through Jesus blood

The chains of sin can’t hold us down 

We have been given 

Our eternal crown 

Through Jesus death we are set free

We can worship our king victoriously 

As the spirit of God fills our soul

Let’s share the good news 

So others too, can be made whole
